Smartec releases STC-3002 color CCTV camera with 540 TVL resolution at up to 0.08 lux of minimum illumination
Due to Sony SuperHAD CCD and DSP HQ1 digital processor, STC-3002 delivers high-quality color images with 540 TVL resolution. Easy "Day/Night" function allows camera to operate in different light conditions at up to 0.08 lux of minimum illumination. In addition, color CCTV camera utilizes automatic electronic shutter and auto white balance.
STC-3002 is available in two modifications that differ by the type and value of the voltage: STC-3002/0 color CCTV camera operates using 220 VAC while STC-3002/3 - 12 V DC or 24 V AC. For outdoor CCTV system it is recommended to use STC-3002/0 for its operation with 220 V power supply if the camera is supplied with thermal housing.
Configuration of the video camera is carried by DIP-switches located on the rear panel of the camera. Installer can configure automatic gain control, flickerless/backlight compensation, electronic shutter operation, and external synchronization. In addition, a new color CCTV camera is equipped with C/CS mount and is compatible with lenses with auto iris controlled by DC or video signal.
If the camera operates on the object with fluorescent lamps, the frequency of light source flicker can coincide with the electronic shutter speed. In this case, color image from the camera starts to flicker. Unlike many analogues STC-3002 color CCTV camera can prevent this effect with the help of DIP-switches allowing installer to select flickerless compensation mode.
It is necessary to synchronize all the cameras on a single core camera when using multiple STC-3002 in CCTV system. STC-3002 color CCTV camera utilizes method of synchronization based on power supply frequency (Line Lock) that allows installer to carry out automatic synchronization of color cameras connected to one phase.
New Smartec STС-3002 color CCTV cameras are offered from stock by Smartec dealers.
